FIRST COUNTY BANK SUPPORTS GREENWICH UNITED WAY

Foundation’s Commitment to Fairfield County Community Continues

The First County Bank Foundation, a long-standing supporter of the Greenwich United Way, has contributed $2,500 to the 2012-2013 Campaign that is raising funds to support the most critically needed programs and services in the community.

According to United Way Campaign Co-chairs Patricia and Barrett Burns, First County Bank’s grant will help further the organization’s work “Fostering Self Sufficiency and Community & Economic Development.”

Besides being a leader of local community planning efforts for the town, the Greenwich United Way is the largest non-governmental source of funding for local health and human services.  Each year, over 650 United Way volunteers research local needs, coordinate the delivery of services, and raise funds in a Town-wide campaign to provide much needed support for local programs provided by its partner agencies.
