United Way Youth Services Council and Library present “How to Get a Grant”
One-Day Skills Workshop for Nonprofits set for June 6
Judith Margolin will present a day long seminar on grant writing for staff and volunteers of local nonprofit organizations on Friday, June 6, in the Greenwich Library Meeting Room. The workshop takes place from 8:30 am to 4:00 p.m. Registration for the program is $50 per person.
Ms. Margolin’s program will cover all the essential components from assessing your organization’s needs to “prospecting” – finding the right funder, to mobilizing board support, customizing proposals, and follow-up strategies. Nonprofit executives, board members, community leaders, and freelance grant writers will want to attend this informative session.
