Greenwich Avenue Restaurants Support Local Human Service Needs

Eastend, Mediterraneo of Greenwich and Terra Restaurant Hosted a Week of Caring to support Community Investments at Greenwich United Way. A portion of the proceeds from guest dining during the week of May 1 – 7 will benefit critical human service needs in the community.

GREENWICH, Conn., June 15, 2016 – Greenwich United Way CEO, David Rabin visited Adam Zakka of Z Hospitality Group at Eastend on Monday to personally thank the restaurateur for partnering with the nonprofit during the annual Week of Caring event. Z Hospitality has hosted the fundraising promotion in Greenwich since 2006 and has raised more than $20,000 for Community Investments at Greenwich United Way.

Rabin stated, “The deadline to reach our Annual Campaign goal is June 30 and it’s important that we acknowledge Z Hospitality for bringing us one-step-closer to reaching our goal. A portion of proceeds from patrons dining at Terra, Mediterraneo or Eastend during the first week of May will help Greenwich United Way ensure that critical human service needs are met and agencies we know need support continue to receive funding. Thank you to all who participated this year, those who missed the event can still support by making a donation to Greenwich United Way before our deadline.”
