Greenwich United Way Welcomes New Members to Board of Directors at Annual Meeting

Greenwich, CT – The Greenwich United Way (GUW) Board of Directors Annual Meeting was held on June 10th at Greenwich Country Club. The board welcomed three new members: Christopher Cryderman, Carol Greene-Vincent, and Rory Shepard. CEO, David Rabin recognized retiring board members joining the advisory board: Christina Bliley, Tim Drinkall, Pam Fornero, Sean McMurtry, Mandy Murphy, and Emily Wolowitz.

Christopher Cryderman

Chris is a Partner in Deloitte & Touche LLP’s Audit & Assurance practice with over 18 years of experience serving SEC registrants. He specializes in the banking and capital markets industries, with deep expertise in bank holding companies, broker-dealers, fintech, and security-based swap dealers. Chris leads large, complex audit engagements and works closely with audit committees and senior leadership teams. He also spent two years as a Practice Fellow at the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB), where he contributed to the development of accounting standards with a focus on implementation and emerging issues.

 

Chris is known for his commitment to audit quality, thoughtful professional judgment, and collaborative, hands-on approach. He and his wife, Kimmy, live in Cos Cob with their three children. Since moving to Greenwich in 2018, their family has been actively engaged in the community. Chris is enthusiastic about the opportunity to serve on the Greenwich United Way Board and contribute his governance and financial expertise in support of its mission.

 

Carol Greene-Vincent

Carol Greene-Vincent is the Chief Audit Officer at Morgan Stanley, where she leads a global internal audit organization spanning the United States, Europe, and Asia. She is also a member of the firm’s Operating and Management Committees. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2018, Carol spent 25 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she served as a partner advising global banking clients on internal controls, risk management, and regulatory matters.

 

Carol brings extensive experience working with senior executives and boards, particularly in highly regulated environments undergoing transformation. She holds a BA in Business Management from Molloy College and an MBA in Accounting and International Business from Hofstra University, and is a Certified Public Accountant. She is actively involved in nonprofit governance, currently serving on multiple boards focused on legal services, healthcare, and social impact initiatives.

 

Rory Shepard

Rory was born in Stamford and raised in Greenwich, Connecticut, where he attended Greenwich Public Schools before graduating from The Taft School. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate Finance from the University of Denver and later a Master of Science in Real Estate from the University of Florida. Rory began his career at Cushman & Wakefield in commercial leasing before transitioning into real estate finance and capital markets roles.

 

He has held positions at LoanCore Capital and HFF (now part of JLL), gaining extensive experience in lending, investment, and advisory services. Rory currently works at Bankwell Financial Group, where he leads a private client group focused on real estate lending and treasury management. He and his wife live in Riverside and are eager to deepen their involvement in the local philanthropic community through service and engagement.
