Southern Regional Sickle Cell Association, Inc. Virginia Scott was founded by Virginia Scott with other concerned citizens of Bridgeport, CT in 1985. The organization has continued to grow and has helped many individuals through several programs. The Sickle Cell Disease Association of America Southern Connecticut Inc. Our mission is to provide education, screening, counseling, and support services to persons affected with sickle cell disease and the trait. Our goal is to ensure a network of partners dedicated to promoting a healthy lifestyle for patients with sickle cell disease.
