PET ANIMAL WELFARE SOCIETY – PAWS

PAWS is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.  Started in 1962 by Betty Long, their goal is to rescue homeless dogs and place them in permanent homes. In the early 1980s, their rescue efforts were expanded to include cats.

Begun in 1981, this is a nonprofit volunteer pet-placement agency dedicated to finding good homes for adoptable dogs and cats.  The Armonk location, purchased in 1999, is a full-service shelter.

GREENWICH HOSPITAL‘s Lions Low Vision Center provides services to persons with low vision in Fairfield and Westchester counties. The Center helps those with moderate visual impairment to maximize their remaining vision and enhance quality of life. By appointment with a physician referral.

THE CENTER FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT CRISIS COUNSELING & EDUCATION
