LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS OF GREENWICH

The Greenwich LWV has about 300 members, is the largest chapter in Connecticut and was founded in 1921.  The League of Women Voters is a multi-issue organization whose mission is to encourage the active participation of citizens in government and to influence public policy through education and advocacy.

MEALS – ON – WHEELS

Nonprofit, independent volunteer organization that prepares and delivers meals to Greenwich residents at home. Anyone, regardless of age, who is temporarily or permanently disabled, or recuperating from an illness or operation, may use this service. This independent chapter was started by the WOMAN’S CLUB in 1960.
