Republican State Senator L. Scott Frantz was elected to his third term in the State Senate in 2012. Senator Frantz represents the 36th Senate District, which includes the communities of Greenwich, New Canaan and Stamford. He took the seat held for ten terms by Bill Nickerson who retired in 2009.
