This court, Connecticut’s only trial court of general jurisdiction, has the following principal trial divisions: civil, criminal, family, motor vehicle, housing and small claims.  The HOUSING DIVISION,  SMALL CLAIMS DIVISION, BANKRUPTCY COURT, AND PROBATE COURT FOR THE DISTRICT OF GREENWICH are all listed separately. The Stamford courthouse is the largest and most technologically advanced in the state.  Stamford is headquarters for Darien, Greenwich, New Canaan, Weston, Westport, and Wilton.
