CONNECTICUT WILDLIFE REHABILITATORS ASSOCIATION, INC.

A nonprofit, statewide, organization consisting of some 200 rehabilitators with the goal of improving the care of distressed wildlife in Connecticut.  Services include; networking, support, education, and oil spill response. The association helps to care for injured, diseased, or orphaned wildlife by trained, licensed volunteers, with the goal of releasing the animal back into the wild.  Licensing is through the State Department of Environmental Protection, Wildlife Bureau.  See also WILD WINGS, listed separately.

  1. Found a baby mouse, eyes still closed. Got a small cardboard box. Placed it on its side incase mom comes back. Put a baggy with warm water in the box with a piece of flannel on top and left the mouse on the flannel, slightly covered (it is cold out), hoping it is not orphaned. When it gets dark, I will bring it inside. But, then what? Can someone help? Located in Greenwich, CT 3/21/26
