Description:

The Greenwich High School Student Loan Fund offers financial assistance to GREENWICH HIGH SCHOOL graduates for full-time college undergraduate education by providing interest-free loans of up to $5,000 a year (12 month period) for four years. New applications must be submitted for each year a loan is requested. The education may be technical preparation as well as traditional college study. Loans will not be made for graduate school. To qualify for a loan, the applicant must show financial need and the family’s income may not exceed $250,000. You must provide 2 co-signers, whose combined income is a minimum of $60,000 as evidenced by attached IRS Forms 1040 and W2. If your application is approved, you and your co-signers will be required to sign a legal document in which you promise to repay your loan in monthly installments upon the completion or cessation of your full time undergraduate education. The loan check will be made out to you and the college you attend and you will need to endorse it over to the college for credit to your account.
