The Connecticut Chapter was founded in 1984, as a grassroots, self-help, education, support and advocacy organization. It’s made up of parents, relatives and friends of people who have mental illness.  The group is dedicated to the eradication of the stigma of mental illness and the improvement of the quality of life of those affected by those diseases.
