WOMEN, INFANTS, CHILDREN – SUPPLEMENTAL NUTRITION PROGRAM

Description:

Supplementary food program providing recommended nutritious foods to low-income pregnant and nursing mothers and children up to the age of 5. It is sponsored by the U.S. Dept of Agriculture. Eligibility is based on income guidelines. Greenwich residents may go to the Dept of Social Services at the Greenwich Town Hall for processing one FRI each month, but they must make their appointments through the WIC office in Stamford first.
