  • FAMILY CENTERS – THE DEN FOR GRIEVING KIDS

    Begun in 1993 as a Junior League project. The Den became a FAMILY CENTERS Program in 1996.  A bereavement resource center for children, teens, and their families, communities, and professionals.  The Den consults local businesses, schools, civic groups, and religious organizations on bereavement and trauma response issues.

  • FAMILY CENTERS – SUPPORT GROUPS

    FAMILY CENTERS‘ offers support and therapy groups for children, adults and families in their Stamford, Greenwich and Darien locations. Pre-registration is required for all groups, and a sliding fee scale is available.  Most insurance plans are also accepted. Private counseling sessions can also be arranged.

    Town agency promoting health in the community,  through sanitation and control of communicable infections.  The agency provides inspections and enforcement of town environmental regulations and oversees community health programs.
