The fund was established in 1991 in memory of Robert L. Ailleo Jr.  Jill, his mother, is an artist and his father is a dentist in Greenwich.

Founded in 2009, this local chapter is one of 800 covenant groups nationwide.  They provide support to Military Families.   The group’s purpose is not to duplicate what the Government does, but to fill in the gaps.

PET ANIMAL WELFARE SOCIETY – PAWS

PAWS is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.  Started in 1962 by Betty Long, their goal is to rescue homeless dogs and place them in permanent homes. In the early 1980s, their rescue efforts were expanded to include cats.
